The SYNTAX® SB ballast connectors incorporate features which ensure high quality, extreme durability and safe connection between HMI ballasts and Lamps. The range includes connectors compatible with all major HMI lamp manufacturer specifications, covering 400W-20KW HMI ranges. The coupling mechanism, which is the area most prone to damage is of a machined thick wall construction and utilises roller bearings to allow for easy coupling.

Besides guaranteeing an excellent mechanical strain relief keeping the cable in the centre of the connector, these cable-clamps are provided with an internal conical rubber bushing ensuring waterproof protection IP67. The screws in stainless steel have elastic anti-vibration washers.

STANDARD VERSION

BUSHING

These are made of elastomeric rubber and used with the metal cable clamp to protect the cable. They allow using cables with diameter smaller than the nominal one.
